I think so, I've hit 30 psi more than once on a stock non-locktighted seal.

Its definently much easier. Not a fan of all the monkey motion of a regulator sitting on my fender well.

I dont for see any akkidents

I'll give it a shot! There's nothing I hate more than monkey motion, so this sounds right up my alley. It may be a few months before it's back in the daylight again though...

What does monkey motion mean? Just too much clutter in one place or what?

I dunno, it was the first time I ever saw the phrase so I had to repeat it.

LOL its what my dad usually says when I rig up some system like the one thats on my truck, too much going on.

If I rigged it all with hardlines and hung it under the intake log on the head, that would work, but right now its all done with parker pushloc and its kind of a mess.

Pete, dont think the seal will like 30psi at idle?

Maybe for a little while. I wouldn't trust it not to pop out. A rubberized seal Loc-Tited in, and expansion and contraction of the pump thru heat cycles......... :-?

20 psi, no problem, even 25. I think 30 is pushing it. JMO. (remember, 19 with 30 years experience ;) )

There's always got to be a downer huh, Alex? :P

If there's a risk of killing that seal I'll put it on there. You may not believe it, as much as I work on this truck, but I'd much rather be driving it.

I hate to put any more crap on that side of my engine, since it's still halfway empty over there. The passenger side is starting to look like a CR truck with the IC, turbos, and all the piping over there. I remember the good old days when I used to sit on my fender with my feet on the frame rails and work...

BTW it can be done...

eliminating that stupid feed line that is... I used a straight thread to pipe adaptor fitting, then drilled it out on the lathe till I got the most possible out of it 8)

crappy messy pictures... the old girl is pretty filthy right now

Here's the filter heads I'm going to run, nothing special, but they are threaded different for primary and secondary.
