Accept the fact you may scatter something and have to have it towed home.

What kind of transmission? :?:

I am guessing he has a auto as he has a trans temp gauge.

Take a few runn of doing nothing but lining up and dropping the hammer to cut a good reaction time. Then start doing boosted launches. Since I have a manual and no way to 3 foot it, I upped the rpms to 2-2200 rpms and let the clutch out fast. I cut 2.0 60fts and have my r/t sub .1 secs.

Don't boost then. If you had slicks, then boost. Stock tires, not gonna hook.

If you don't have water meth or nitrous on the dyno, just peg it in the tallest gear you have that provides the most load, and whatever number it hits is what you have!

On the dragstrip, it's a different story. I have nearly 500rwhp on mine, but my first three passes were horrible. Try boost, no boost, easing into it, flooring it, whatever your truck likes is what you need to do. May take some time......try to get in as many runs as you can, and your 60ft time down as much as possible.

I would make a comment that would mention both your old lady and a phat shaft but I think I'll let Pete do it.

Very cool pictures though, almost makes me want to cut a hole in the bed and throw a stack on my truck. Yours looks really good, I love those mirrors too. 8)

I don't know TS well enough to make a comment about his woman and I don't want to pee anybody off. (Today anyways. )

Quite a few of us wish we had a Phat shaft too. ;)
