This is exactly what i should be doing, quitting the mods and saving up for body work.. but you know how that goes. It seems like you got all the free mods, maybe tune your afc and mess with your timing.

Polish everything you can remove and put back on in the same day. Clean up all of the loose ends of wires, put wiring loom over all the old burnt up stuff that came from the factory. Clean out your Hvac box. Clean and paint the little things that will make a big difference once you get your paint and body work done. No point in having a really nice truck until you pop the hood at the local show and shine!

Pull you injection pump off, replace the shaft seal, clean up the tappet cover while your there, maybe replace the gasket.

cheep $ to clean the whole left side of the motor, and replace the seal with loctight so your not worried about it popping out

you need to remove the IP...

pull throttle bracket off, with assorted cables and wiring going to the IP

pull pump mounting bracket of the bottom,

pull all injector lines

pull return line, inlet line

pull AFC line to top of pump

Lock the IP "jam" bolt that locks the IP shaft

CAREFULLY remove IP gear, nut and lock washer, let the gear just sit in the case, making sure not to rotate it (OR THE ENGINE) while you have the pump off

remove the 3 pump mounting bolts, and just pull it off

then just remove the seal with a small screw driver... you kind of have to destroy it to get it off.. but there it nothing behind it that you can damage, so just go at it with a small screw driver

sounds complicated... but its easy... just remove stuff, and put stuff back on. i can pull one off, replce it and have it running in about 3 hrs now

This is definitely something I would look into. Nothing worse than laying all over your clean truck to get to some wire in the middle of the firewall. Look into putting relays on all the heavy electrical loads and cleaning up/covering the wiring. Try to get a handle on what operates what in the electrical system so something simple doesn't end up parking your truck for a week while you try to figure it out.
