Well an intercooler reduces EGTs. So as long as your turbo can move enough air to keep your pistons from melting you are only limited by how much fuel they flow.

I seen some where 300hp is doable with a stockish setup.

I doubt you could hit that without an intercooler. Maybe if it was just a dyno queen it may be able to hit 400rwhp (again, I still doubt it) but for a daily driver and especially if it will be towing anything you'll need an intercooler.

Intercooling helps reduce the hot air being pushed out of your turbo. It helps at making the air more oxygen dense so it burns better in the cylinder. If you don't and you hit 400, a good sized cooler may help you to break 440...

Probably too much, the intercooler wont be cheap to ship but i will look into it.
