Re: Next stage- Twin Support Mods (last page)

Just got the call from the guy working on my head. I've got to pull mine off so he can grab my 60lb intake springs off of it and he said I'll have it back and ready to put on before the weekend. 8)

Also, forget that intake piping for now, it's not worth the time to fab around my non-IC'd setup or the money I'd have swapping over to an intercooled setup to accommodate it. I'm just going to put it back the way it was, cowbell and all. I'll do something to it eventually, but I just want to drive it again.

You should delete that "(last page)" from the title, it's obvious this thread will never end!

Just picked up my head today, and damn it's sexy. My old one was sitting beside it and I couldn't believe how different they were. O-ringed, ported, and a 3-angle valvejob.

Set the head on and threaded and lubed the studs in, the realized I don't have a 12pt. 16mm socket.

Also, I hope there's going to be a bunch of squish to this new gasket, all my rocker studs are about 3 threads down from the top of the nut. Well, except the #3 rocker which only has about 4 threads started in the nut. Dunno why it's so low, but I doubt I'll be needing to grind it's webbing.

Looks good Levi. I've got a little secret project with my truck.

We still gonna race after you get it together so I can show you the power of the pee pump?

Absolutely not, but I'm not sure anyone here would approve of it much more than nitrous.

All this alluding, yet I still find myself completely unafraid of your truck even staying even with me, Justin. :P
