I've only noticed a slightly better throttle response, nothing note worthy.

Guess that's what happens when you get fat and old. Had to take the hood off, throttle cable bracket, and moved the dip stick tube and wiring harness out of the way. I was about ready to remove the master cylinder. All this just to cut away the insulation on the valve lifter cover. Scraping away the old gasket was a lot of fun too. Bought the Delphi pump, we'll see how long it hold up. If I have to replace it and/or do the 92 I'll use a high volume with a low pressure spring. There are some out there now.
