i got the W/M to work. i put the pump and res. in the bed. was out today getting lunch, got back to work and parked the truck. i parked it on a small incline, front of the truck down. well, as it sat there while i was working, some of the boost juice gravity fed into the engine. i went to start it and it didnt want even turn over. at first i thought the starter was not working, but the 3rd attempt made it clear what was going on. i got pretty mad figuring i bent a rod, so i said screw it and tried a 4th time. it started but ran like crap for a minute. but it cleared up and runs a good as ever now. i checked the oil and i could tell there is a little something other than oil in it. i dont think its coolant. i think it is boost juice that had leaked into a cyl or 2. i checked coolant and it is fine. i was just going to change the oil and hope for the best. any of yall thing i blew my head gasket, or did any other damage? sorry for the novel. lol

Change oil drive on. Then go buy a check valve. My employe put on a kit that had no check valve and mounted the tank higher than the nozzle and started it 2 different times till it got figured out and still has no problems since then

Sounds to me you got lucky and didn't hurt it. X2 on the oil change and a check valve. ;)

Defiantly changing the oil Tom. Maybe even twice. I got a 7 gallon tank and solenoid on the way.

i guess we will all live to see another day, and so will the ol cummins. changed the oil, let it run for about 10 min, drained it, filled it up again and put on a new filter, put some new fuel filters on, and gave her hell. no problems yet, nothing but oil in the crank case. i drained the boost juice out of the W/M tank and blew the lines out until the new res. shows up with the solenoid.
