I got my pump back together and in the truck! I can post more pics of the pump tear down if anyone wants them. But now i have more problems!! Water from the hood has had its way with injector #6 ruined the injector threads and the injection line nut threads.... What to do? I was thinking that putting a new injector in there would be a bad idea because im sure the other injectors have wear from 210,000 miles of operation... Is the nut replaceable or do i need to get a whole new line?

I would pull that injector, wire wheel the threads, and spray it with brake cleaner to get rid of the crap. I have seen the seat where the line sits be rusty, and have polished it with some fine emery paper and blew it out with brake cleaner, then run it with no problems.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

It almost looks like the threads are stripped out on top but not sure. Any tips or easy ways to pull an injector? You guys are great and have helped me a ton!!

Edit: Can i reuse the sealing washer?

I"ve re used my sealing washers wit no il affects.

See if a lug nut will screw onto the injector..... If so, put a box end 3/4" wrench over the injector (after you pull the hold down nut of course) then screw a lug nut onto your injector, then wack the open end of the 3/4" wrench with a hammer.... out pops the injector.

Well i got it out. The tip of the injector was pretty sooted up. I wiped it off good. Would pulling the rest of the injectors and cleaning the tips help get rid of haze and maybe increase mileage a some? The threads are stuck inside the injector nut... I got most of them out accept for a chunk so hopefully i can get the it out and reuse it.

Well i really got serious with it tonight... I got the old threads out of the injector line so its still good. I got the truck all back together and the injection line does screw on to the injector so im gonna try an start er up tomorow after school... I really appreciate your offer on the injectors and stuff! :D If this injector doesn't work i may take you up your fine offer, but won't take it from you for free. You think what threads are left will hold?

Did it feel like it tightened up, or did it have even the slightest "spongy" feeling?
About all you can do is fire it, if it leaks and it won't seal, you'll need to replace them.
