Signs of life!

I got it installed and cranked it up. It sounds super retarded though. You can tell it needs more advancing. I am thinking about advancing another tooth instead of advancing the pump. I can get the front cover off quicker than it would take to loosen all my injection pump lines. I also like the pump being in the retarded position because I can get to the idle screw and full power screw easier.



My current setting are one tooth advanced and a fully retarded pump position.
I would like to have the timing setup to an 1/8th bump on stock setting. I hate flying in the dark on this. I really should buy the proper dial indicator to set the timing. I still wouldn't know what lift to set it at for 1/8" advanced.
I have heard that to the head on stock setting is 10 deg advanced.
I also heard 1/8" bump on stock setting is like 5-6 deg advanced.
I am not really certain what the tooth skipping and fully retarded pump produce.
