Industrial VE pump question

I bought a 24 valve motor to go in my 1st gen, but I really want to go with a mechanical pump. I purchased a bunch of parts recently to do the swap, but since I got the industrial VE; I wonder which route would be better (180HP P7100 or VE). Does anyone know if the threads would match up from the VP44 so I don't have to buy lines or any info on these industrial pumps? A few pics are below. Thanks!

Turboram, just ve pumped a 24 valve..... pm him and he should be able to answer some of those questions.

Some of the industrial pumps have fixed governors as well which you may want to check.

Front covers are different and cam must be pulled to change...... the ve will work with the 24v lines if you install 10x1.5 heli coils on the delivery valves.... i have seen p pumped 24v with vp lines re bent, didn't look good but did the job

Thanks guys. I might just sell it if the cam and front cover have to be swapped though. Do I have to rip into it to check the governor or is there somewhere I can check the numbers on it to tell?

You and I must think alike, because I successfully adapted a line to try this with over a year ago.
My way of doing it involved using heat to relax the coils within a mag-style (14mm) lug nut, cooled them, shortened to length and thread them into the VP lines with a dab of loctite.
I was going to use a Non-Intercooled VE, since the lines only needed very minor tweaking to fit.

This was in the beginning stages of R&D towards trying to adapt a VE onto a 6.7, while using a VP head.

I still say it's doable without any real special tools, but I sidelined the idea for lack of a proper place to do it and keep it all clean.
Hell, I'd even bought METRIC drill bits to do the case bolts and the early dowel pin holes.

Not everyone likes to take pics or discuss their rides, much less every aspect of their life.
I've done a lot of things with vehicles that I haven't discussed on here, not that I don't like to "share", just that I don't think it's relevant.

Maybe that's why I hate Fakebook. People gossip enough, no need to fuel the fire.
