Injection pump woes

Postby tim curran » Mon Jan 27, 2014 10:03 pm

Any body know we're to get a kit to rebuild my injection pump on my 93? I have a industrial injection stage two pump that is only two years old and it is leaking fuel every where. It leaks fuel out the drain on the back of the diaphragm housing. I checked my oil and I appear to have gained a gallon of oil this week. My shaft seal is gone to. This pump was 1100 bucks I am sick of buying junk. Does any one no where to get good parts for these ve pumps? No eBay junk I want to take my pump apart and rebuild it and replace my leaky seals. Any help would be nice. :bom:

Currently all of the bosch re seal kits are on a national back order.

Have you talked to Ind. Injection?

I have they said send it back and they will go through it for parts and labor. It's just the shipping. Cost from Maine too Utah plus the down time. This truck is my service truck so she works all the time.

Do DFS have the dgk121 kit? Or is it an ebay (aftermarket) kit?

So I fixed my leaky seals and ditched my worn out Denny t fuel pin, put my pump back on the truck. It starts and idles nice but when u give it throttle it starts to die off like the fuel is being shut off. All the work I did to the pump was in the diaphragm area on the cover of the pump, what did I do wrong. :(

The kit from dfs was good had a ton of parts to go through the whole pump. I was told it was the kit they have been using a while.

I had fuel lever tweaked just had to take uf top bolt of the lever and push down on the fuel rod then tweak it back a little. Took a couple of times to get it right. :bom:
