Postby 92cummins89 » Mon Jun 30, 2014 4:19 pm

Got all my pieces made for my clutch push rod

Now I'm tryin to get the master cylinder back on the truck
Do u just put it on an twist and it locks or was there something onthe inside tht prevents it from being pushed out when u engage the clutch

Put it in, twist to lock, and there should be a locking screw so it doesn't untwist back out

Yes, inside. IIRC it screws into the master cylinder plastic. There should be an existing hole in the master if it's a used one.
Sorry, no way to get a pic at this time. Wife dropped the camera again.

From the looks of my old master I can't find a hole anywhere

And when I put it in an turn it with little to no pressure it pops back out looks like part the hangs on the cab tht locks it is all broken and chipped

Think I just might order a whole new master an slave

Mine stayed in, but I put the screw in it right away. Maybe the line is holding pressure on it to unscrew out. If you do get one bleed it before you put it in. I've read on here that is the best way.
