Awhile after I got my 92 w250, occasionally it would miss and sputter and would have air in the lines for no apparent reason. Didn't matter what the tank level was, time of day, but it always had engine temp when it happened. For awhile it was normal. I had to make a 800 mile trip one weekend and all was well. I got maybe 2 hours in on the way home and I pulled into the gas station to eat. Got back in and it did it again. I limped over to the pump and put 17 gallons in. Blocked the wheels and cracked the injectors. got it started and saw a lot of air in the lines. Got it to run and I ran out and tightened the ones that were pure fuel. got them all tight and then it did it again. Loosened a hair and got it running. Tried and tried for 5 minutes or so and was showing no signs of an end. I reved it a little to keep it alive and bam. Pure fuel no air at every line. No problems for another two weeks or so. If you did flat foot it, it would do it again. it would cut out before it wanted to go. So I decided to get a lpplp. My stock pump was leaking quite a bit so I figured maybe it'd help. Got the pump on A-Ok and pumped it till fuel came out the banjo bolt on the fuel heater. Started it and it ran okay for a minute and then lots of air like before. I figured it was just from having all the lines open and cracked the injectors. I tried and tried to get all the air out but it never stopped. Tightened them and opened again, gave it a little throttle like before and they were clean. Went for a test drive and it felt a little more doggy. Still cut out if you got into it hard. Now a few weeks later (Friday) I was coming home from creston and it cut out going by MM's place. probably warned me I should have stopped..

but then just came back to life. maybe 2 miles down the road it died. Coasted for a mile. stropped and cracked the injectors cranked over and there is only fuel, barely any at that coming out cylinder #3. I pumped the lift pump and that was all I saw. No signs anywhere else. Crank over and prime. Still just barely a flow at #3. That night we drug it home behind Daniels truck. Today I put 5 gallons in it and still nothing. It is not out of fuel. I can prime it and still only at #3. If I prime it and then wait a min or two there will be no pressure in the filter, is that normal? Any Ideas guys? What is to blame?
Thanks, Ryker
