so a dual 3 inch would equal out to something like 14.14 inches/2 not to impressive for that same equation six inche pipe would be something like 23 inches/2 not even close, so I am better off going with some kind of 4" if its possible

4" is possible. I have the Stan's Exhaust 4" system (4" the whole way, including downpipe) on my 92 4x4. It took a little bit of attention to get the pipe in there so it didn't make contact anywhere, but it fits. It's raining right now or I'd get pictures. I also have a 4" system on my 90 2wd but it only has a 3" downpipe. It is 4" next to the transmission and clears fine. You don't have to get really creative until you go to 5". I don't think you need (want is a different story :P ) 5" unless you're running a turbo with a 5" outlet. Just my $.02

a 4 inch is somthing like 12.??inhces square and 2 threes is like 14.15 inhces square, two 3s is about 8% bigger then 1 4 inch, for the diffrence 1 4inch would be better
4 inch exaust is easy to do, compared to a 5inch but even a 5 inch wasnt to bad

So, the name of the place is actually Stan's Headers. You can also try Source Automotive, they have a full 4" exhaust for our trucks (downpipe to tailpipe). Click on the names for the websites.

Stan is the manufacture his shop is huge. I would say that he is also one of the nicest guys around when it comes to exhaust.

I have his 4" system also.. From the muffler back I have a 5" over the rear axle tail pipe they did also.

I like the way the larger pipe sounds real low sound..
