I had injection pump problems, leaking from the hydralic head, I pulled it apart and sealed it myself and the truck ran for ten seconds then died I spent hours trying to figure it out and finally called steve at diesel care( the mechanic) and sent him my pump and asked about injectors, he went through my entire pump and told me he couldnt find anything wrong(the guys here in town quoted my 1400 dollars to replace every piece on the pump, there way of saying they didnt know either) he was cool enough to admit it, so he replace the plug at the end of the hydralic head and sent it back to me, he also said there was a lot of rust do to water. I got it back and come to find out a vent tube on my tank was missing and I had 2 gallons of water at the bottom of my tank(stupid huh) so if I would have had the pump fixed here in town I would have paid 1400 dollars for nothing, instead I paid 1300 dollars, I got a rebuilt pump(again) and a set of Injectors he also put a 3200 spring in my pump and bigger return springs since they are prone to breaking. In my opinion diesel care and performance is the best thing that could have happend to me
The injectors are a 4 hole and the holes are about the same size as stock
but the pattern of the holes where different. My dads truck has the same set with a banks intercooler and 12 cm housing, his truck gets 20 in town and is pulling 30 pounds of boost, but it feels like 45 or 50 because the truck runs so efficient. Might be something to look into if you want the power without sacrificing mileage and reliability
