cab mount is broke

I searched and didn't really come up with anything. My rear D side cab mount is broke and the cab has shifted to the D side. I have a donor pickup that I could snag the mounts off. My quesiton is will this work. Is it as easy as cutting the rivets out and bolting the new cab mounts in?

If you mean the frame part of the mount, yup, it's that easy. I had to change 2 of mine.

yeah it's the part that's riveted to the fram and then the bolt goes up into the cab.

Mine were real thin on the 93 where the rubber sat on the mount so I welded big washers on the top. The rest of the mounts were plenty strong.

the rear D side is completely broke and the rear P side is cracked. I plan on putting a new/differant one on the D side and welding a washer to it and fixing the P side and welding a washer to it also.

My front ones were rotted thru, so I swapped them from the '86 donor truck. The rears were different, so I cut a square out of the bad mount, and made a replacement piece to weld in. Went right to the edges where it was thicker. Worked pretty good.
