Fuel Screw, Smoke Screw, What Screw??

Postby Bschwarzli » Mon Oct 26, 2009 5:14 pm

So, while on the dyno this weekend, and also with now not having to worry about my 727 now that I am a stick, we turned up the fuel screw. :D

Gained 74 HP and 200 ft/lbs. Nice. I like it! :D

Now for a question. It is smoky. Alot smokey. And dont get me wrong, I like it that way. But my mind got to workin. The smoke screw I have heard about but not seen. Would it allow me to still have the power without the smoke? How does this work? What is it for?

Thanks!

Robert

if u really want less smoke go for a bigger turbo or turn up ur starwheel so u only get fuel under lotssss of boost

i backed my smoke screw all the way out. ive got maybe two turns on the fuel screw, and it was obnoxious. backing it out helped alot, now i can give it more than 1/2 throttle without blacking out an intersection. i can still smoke it on demend, but not near as bad.
