Need mas TURBO

Postby Chug A Lug » Tue Jan 19, 2010 4:36 pm

Just wondering what yall think i have a 92 3/4 ton single cab 2wd auto with the stock H1c turbo with a 16cm housing and prince of darkness injectors pump all the way NO GAUGES. I need more power im tired of getting whooped by all these dang fords.I was thinkin about the hx-35 or hx-40 off a junk truck or the compressor upgrade for the H1c. What do yall think?

Gauges first. POD injectors and no gauges = burnt up motor. ;)

What about some trans work? Even if all is well with the stock auto, it could still benefit from a low stall converter and shift kit/valve body upgrade. That could get a lot more power to the ground. As for the turbo, I don't think the hx35 is much of an upgrade.

What Fords? You wont stand a chance against a newer (modified) ford.

I don't know about that. I put a few chipped d maxes to shame drag racing this year. They may have more power but I have less weight. I was beat by a couple newer trucks but I beat a few of the program rich trucks too.

Around here if you see a diesel with stacks or big exhaust its heavily modified. Theres alot of trucks running stacked programmers, twin turbos, nitrous, water, ect. ect.

Its cool to here about an 17+ year old truck kickin a new one. Whats you truck run in the quarter mile Richie?

I cant wait untill spring to get my truck to the track. Just after I got it I was at Brainerd International Dragway, I ran a 18.01 quarter mile bone stock. Muffler, cloged stock air filter, stock pump, 500 pounds of extra crap, A518 auto slush box with no overdrive, and the 21cm turbo that wouldnt even spool.
