My experience was that if the turbo bushings are not tight the new inducer fins will hit the housing.
Was it worth it? Yes. Would I do it again? Yes I would. I like it. Mine seems to push a lot of air and sounds off to boot.

I always deal with GDS. there pricing and customer service is better(in my opinion). as far as the 60mm wheels and housings its like comparing apples to apples.. this is a great performance upgrade that doesnt cost an arm and a leg...

I also have a GDS 60mm along with a 16cm housing and i'm very satisfied with the performance and the cooling,

but others have the same set up with monster injectors and the 60mm won't keep it cool.

I don't have monster injectors, just big ones (370's), and it's not quite enough. Temps get up to about 1200* at 3k rpms and then it's just toast after that.

Mr Toombs under what conditions was your truck under. Hard acceleration, towing or just riding.

I would go with the GDS not HTT as its way cheaper. The Htt is suposed to be a better unit, but not enough to make it twice as expensive. If your going to spend 4 hundred bucks upgrading your H1C, just hold off and buy a brand new Super HX40 for around 850 or a S300 Borge warner 57mm unit for about the same. Atleast then you get a 4 inch exhaust outlet. I did the gds on my 93 but I already had a 16 cm housing so it was cheap for me and has got me by for a couple of years, but I will be buying a new turbo soon to replace it. The H1C then will be put on my 92 to get rid of the 21 cm stock bog monster.

I agree with Richie, I don't think you will see a big change unless you put a 16cm or smaller housing,
so by the time you get both parts an HX40 or an S300 would be a better bang for the buck.

Ellis, that's with my foot pushed right on down as far as I can, unloaded. Valet switch on. Towing was even more fun, I had about 9k on including the trailer and any hill the pyro went up faster than the speedo came down. I had the valet on for that too, it was better with it off, but not much.
