Thanks for the complements guys. Plans are to try to dyno on June 4 at the Buckeye Nationals in Hebron, Ohio. I'd like to have a better fuel system by then, but don't know if that'll happen or not.

I hope you had to take time out of your day to go get that picture. :P

Maybe you could start a tire fire behind it and retake the picture to give me a more accurate idea.

Any thoughts about something like this? Maybe wired to a switch on the throttle and a relay?

Back when I thought a blowoff valve might help, I thought about a Normally Closed switch under the gas pedal and a hobbs switch plumbed into the manifold and set for (lets just say) 50 psi. These two switches would be wired in series. If you had the gas pedal on the floor, the NC switch would not be made and no power to the blowoff valve. If you drive around at partial throttle, the switch under the pedal would be made, but you would be at less than the 50 psi it would take to close your hobbs switch. But if you were running it hard and lifted off the throttle at above 50 psi...both switches would be closed and the blowoff valve would open. No reason to do all this work though because everyone I've ever talked to about this says the blowoff valve won't help the problem of killing it when lifting too fast. Just got to drive a little different.

I'd say the only reason that may not work is because it probably would only take one compression stroke to shove air up the injectors, and you would have to be mighty quick to beat that one compression event (one about every .034 of a second at 3500 rpm)

So then where's the happy zone? 40, 45, 50psi? Anyone know? Im building twins for towing and would adjust for MWPWS (max wife psi without stall) as this would only result in my wife calling me the first time she borrows it.

I run about 40-45 on a single and haven't had any stalling problems. I have a pretty bad habit of letting off quickly all the time too.

Here are some better pics of my brace.

My primary brace bolts to the top of the center section of the turbo and to the motor mount. My primary is low, so by bolting it to the top, I had more room for my drain and I could install/remove the brace with the turbo on the truck much easier. I made it out of angle iron and 1/4" plate.
