If you replace the brake line from the front, no adapters are needed. The line will screw right into the hose connection. That's what I did on mine.

Toombs: did you use a pre-formed brake line? Or did you bend up your own?

I checked all of my flare nut fittings today, only a couple of them turn free. The rest are stuck to the steel line, which are pretty damn rusty overall. So, I'm going to do the right thing and replace all of my steel brake lines. There is a guy near me who makes replica brake lines bent up exactly to match your existing lines. Only thing is you gotta bring him all of the old ones. Looks to me like I gotta drop the fuel tank though to replace the front to rear line, as I can't get to the brake line clips which are bolted to the frame up behind the fuel tank.

So anyway toombs, when you replaced the brake line that goes from front all the way to the abs module in the back, instead of going to the abs module, did you just shorten the brake line and bend it up so it fits into the hose where it mounts to that bracket? (bracket bolted to the frame, rubber hose goes from the bracket to the axle where it splits off in a brass Y block to each respective wheel cylinder, Y block has the differential vent coming out of it). Also, did you drop the fuel tank?

Thanks!

No, yes, no, no, yes, yes, maybe!
I think you got all the answers from your pm, but, I bent my own, I ran the line direct to the hose, I covered the end of the line and shoved it thru behind the tank. Later on I dropped the tank to repair the frame that almost wasn't there any more, and put in the plastic pipe at that time. Right now nothing goes thru the plastic, but that might change shortly.

funniest thing about it was all I wanted to know was what the part looked like. I did not however want to start a debate because its useless. Its is as productive as argueing dodge vs chevy vs ford. Who cares someone else will always disagree. But those that did help (telling me what were and how) THANK YOU very much.

You got that right! Some people have never had problems with theirs, they work perfectly. Alot don't. That's the way it is, so you do what you have to do, and move on.
Glad you got it working. 8)

Why pay someone to bend brake lines just use your 2 thumbs thats how i do it.

And my buddy uses the black steel compression fittings from NAPA. The guy at the store said they are legal (in ct). He said the brass ones from depot or lowes are illegal. Works great tho.

HEY!, I was a parts guy for a couple years. Hated talking on the phone all day and having no voice at the end of every day. Pay was bad, bad, bad. Did I say the pay was bad? :D To many drones trying to buy parts for there car and having no idea what they had for engines or anything else. Then they were the ones pissed when the parts for the 4 cyl did not fit there V8.

Well did you ever suggest a compression union on a brake line. :P.

Well guys I ended up just running a brand new line from the front to back. I bypassed the anti-lock brakes and wow. What a diffrence. Now I do need to spend a little time adjusting the rear brakes but man does it ever stop better. Thanks for all that replied.
