Ok, since this project is in serious jepordy of derailing, I made the decision to try and keep it on the tracks today
After spending the day looking at cams and cam swaps and thinking about pulling the head, I reminded myself of my last big block project in this truck. it was fun, but lots of time and money! SOOOO....
Since this is also a cummins ford conversion with other stuff going on (NV4500 rebuild) I decided to not get to drastic with the motor yet. Cut my teeth and go from there. I have a very strong feeling I will be looking for a p-pump motor to get a little more into for my other truck!
Borg Warner S300G turbo is the shop! Now I can start sourcing my HX40 exhaust flange and elbows etc for my down pipe.
So as it sits it is basically a stock setup with a S300G upgrade.
Current:
S300G, stock unground fuel pin, 366 spring, 60lb valve springs, KDP kit,1stgen IC.
Soon to be ordered or made (I am a fabricator):
HX40 exhaust Flange, 4 inch downpipe and exhaust, low pressure piston lift pump, 1/2" fuel lines from tank, Cooler tubz type intake pipes, Cold air kit, pyro gage.
Anything I am missing as far as an immediate upgrade needed?
I also have money for injectors, but want to get it running first. Bosch 190's or DD stage I or II?
Again, not a HP monster but a good reliable tow rig.
