a few mouths ago i bought a bullydog fuel pin. just the other day i pulled it out to find a deep gash in it 1/16 th of an inch, call bullydog up told them whats up and they said that im there first case, i know the pin wasnt hardend enough thats why it happened, any body else have that problem?, they said send it back and i will get a refund, perfect 200 bucks back and now i will remove the acv or what ever its called leaver in the pump
if you got a bullydog fuel pin probly be a good idea to check it :!:

I've heard of the BullyDog pins being insufficiently hardened. Other people have had that option.

I looked at mine a coulpe days ago after seeing Wanna's report about Ruquick's BD pin. Looks fine. Been in there since July or thereabouts, as I recall.

I would keep an eye on it.
I was in the shop when they pulled it out of the pump and showed it to me to see what I thought of it. Not very hard, hardness needs to be at least 42Rc (Rockwell C scale for those of you that don't know).
Wanna is running a pin I made, I didn't get a chance to see it, but the only mark on it is a witness mark from the other pin.

Maybe they had bad run of pins from a supplier somewhere? I could see wear scars (witness marks, as you called them) but that was it. I also lubed the face of the pin where the action is, so I'm sure that helps. We'll see...

lol, china, im sending mine back guys going to give my money back, and he says that hes not going to sell them anymore, untill he resives a hardnes report

Well, just checked mine today after reading your post and it DOES have a slight groove.

I installed it about a year and a half ago. I need to dig through my receipts as I can't remember where I bought it from. Bully Dog was out at the time and I found it on another website. I'll be contacting them in the morning about this. Glad you posted this. I probably would have never checked it.
