I know my uncle has a big block he built and his stand is a 1k unit. It is very scary looking and he puts a 2x4 on the balencer to hold up the front. With it being much heavyer then that and longer in length I would go for a heavy one. I would think a 2000 lb one would be fine. I think the bare tare wieght of a 6B is around a thousand pounds.
